Larry Layman 
d/b/a Quick Accounting Solutions

Larry Layman has been doing business as Quick Accounting Solutions since 2001 and has more than 25 years of financial experience including Accounting Manager, Controller and Auditor managing staffs of up to 20 accountants. Larry has extensive experience implementing accounting systems, managing networks and supporting desktops. He normally supports Microsoft applications to include Office Accounting, but the primary application supported is QuickBooks.  As a consultant he originally used QuickBooks when it first came out as either a payroll supplement or general ledger to make up for deficiencies with more robust industry specific financial or POS software. Later after QuickBooks became more sophisticated he spent most of his time deploying QuickBooks as the central component or bookkeeping system back when few professionals would recommend the software. He advocated use of the SQL database Intuit now uses as a way to insure data integrity of his medium sized business clients. He has consulted, for a fee, for the development of accounting software systems by a major manufacturer. Currently QAS operates as a general practice and networks with other firms and professionals in the community to leverage expertise when required. Larry Layman has been a QuickBooks Professional Advisor since the program was started.
